Giving Thanks
We at Epic Lounge would like to take this time to thank everyone who came out to support our reopening. LAUNCH was a great success! This event couldn’t have been successful without the help of our community. Together we can make a difference. Without our community support we are nothing. Everything was a great success from start to finish. We look forward to having and sharing many more good times in the future.
First, I would like to tAKE time out and thank everyone who contributed to the scholarship fund for the students of Florida A&M University and Florida State University. Due to everyone’s contributions we were able to raise over 40,000 dollars for both universities. Thanks to your selflessness we were able to give those who wish to seek higher learning an opportunity to do so.

Meeting the needs of others
Having a wide variety of things to do and places to go in Tallahassee seems to be a frequent problem. Luckily, Epic Lounge is here to fulfill this need in the local community. To be successful in life you must know and understand your wants, needs and desires as well as the wants, needs and desires others. On a daily basis Epic Lounge diligently works on trying to meet the needs of the Tallahassee community. However, in order for Epic Lounge to be successful in meeting those needs; we must continue to gain an understanding of the various needs and concerns of our target audience.
We at Epic Lounge understand the importance of having customer’s feedback, so with this in mind we encourage those in the Tallahassee community who have questions, concerns or suggest about the vision of Epic Lounge to freely leave their comments on our blog. Your questions, concerns, and suggestions are greatly appreciated and are always take in to consideration.
On September 4, 2010 RockBar will be reopening its facility with a new twist and new name. RockBar will official be known as Epic Lounge on August 1, 2010. The new RockBar will no longer serve as a club; it will be a lounge for those who desire to have a place to network outside of the work place or classroom. Epic Lounge is here to serve all college students, young professionals, and business professionals in the Tallahassee area. Along with being a new night spot Epic Lounge will also host wedding receptions, dinner parties, special events as well as private parties. We are here to fulfill and serve whatever you need may be.

Improvements
Under-construction
In life there is always room for improvement. After having an opportunity to visit another blog, I’ve realized the importance of including visual graphics to represent the event or client you’re representing. Joseph and Associates a public relations firm based out of Atlanta Georgia, have a charity foundation called Lend A Hand. Their foundation is an opportunity for them to give back to the community. As PREssence begins to make its mark in the PR indusrty we will put into practice the importance of giving back to our community. Having learned the importance of serving the needs of our clients and their public's, it is also the important to serve those who live in the community we serve.
As the CEO of PREssence, I will take great effort into finding alternative ways to get involved as well as give back to those who live in the Tallahassee community and the surrounding areas. PREssence will give back to the Tallahassee community and will also contribute to the efforts of Joseph and Associates. I beilieve it is important to support those who support our community. When we come together we can change lives. Helping one life beats not doing anything at all.
In the future I would love for PREssence and Joseph and Associates to come together and do a community service event in Tallahassee. I think the two firms can positively impact the local community as well as bring exposure and awareness for our two firms. The community service project would be centered on building the hopes and dreams of kids in the Tallahassee community. The service project would be a year long mentoring effort. This will allow the children to have an opportunity to gain and build a long lasting relationship as well as have an opportunity to shadow an associates of PREssence and Joseph and Associates so that they see how a public relations firm I run as well as learn how to conduct themselves in a work setting.
So in closing always remember that in life there is always room for improvement!

As the CEO of PREssence Consulting Firm I believe it’s my duty to shed light on a couple of positive benefits coming to the Tallahassee community on behalf of Epic Lounge. As Epic Lounge seeks to gain more awareness in the Tallahassee community it is important to address not only its existence but also the positive things the establishment bring to the local area. As you may know Epic Lounge is the new name of Tallahassee’s RockBar and will officially go under new management on August 1, 2010. The owners have decided to re-brand the image of the club and change its venue from a night club to a night lounge. With the club changing to a lounge, this will open up a new opportunity for those in the local area. Business owners and their colleagues and handle business at the club and college students and young professionals can have a change of scenery where they too can socialize.
Also, I would like to take this time to remind you about the official opening of the new lounge, which will take place in less than two months. On September 4, 2010 Epic Lounge and PREssence will be hosting an all white party here in Tallahassee, which will allow those in the local area to receive a sneak peak of the lounge and its new amenities. This event will be absolutely free for everyones the only requirement is that you register on the event website for your admission ticket so that you can secure your chances of getting in. The all white launch party kickoff will consist of a scholarship giveaway to both Florida A&M University and Florida State University. The owners of Epic Lounge strongly believe in the importance of education, and BELIEVE it is important to give back to support education i the local community.
We at PREssence also believe in giving back to those in the local community. We support the efforts of Epic Lounge to support the local universities. As the CEO I Believe it is important to take part and get involved by spreading the word about how Epic Lounge is giving back. A lesson Learned
This past weekend a group of friends and I had the opportunity to plan and celebrate a birthday. Kristin was turning 22, and was very adamant that her birthday be important and speacial was. She constantly reminded us how horrible her last birthday was. So, we took the hint that she wanted us to make a birthday that she would never forget and always cherish and remember. Personally I’m not big on surprises or having a large amount of people around to share and celebrate my birthday with me. I think most people who show up do not genuinely care and about the person who is celebraring thier birthday. So being the PR professional I am, I decided to put my personal feelings aside and do it big for my friend.
For two weeks I and my friends planned the birthday celebration. Together we reached out to the various groups, organization, and friends that we thought Krisitn would want to be there we also used a list of people she gave us. If you ask me there were too many people on the list but we went with it anyway and were determined to make it work. The summer time and a large number of people are not here for the summer we were kind of skeptical about whether or not doing a big birthday extravaganza. My close friend Renetta and I decided to contact everyone a couple of days before the final itinerary was completed. This way we were well aware of who was and wasn’t planning on attending. Based off of the responses we received we realized we weould to need a larger place for the birthday extravaganza.
The party was called “She’s finally 22.” We thought the name would be very fitting since that she is the last person in our crew to turn 22. The birthday extravaganza consisted of a birthday dinner at Harry’s Bar and Grill, followined by socializing at Mint Lounge were you could lounge, mingle and have drinks if you like. The dinner as well as the after party was a success. We had the times of our lives and the night was something I doubt she will ever forget. I think I would perfer a maller group to celebrate my birthday is a bit much but I will say that it has changed my mind about allowing those who truly love and care about me plan a birthday celebration for me. The moral of this blog is that it’s ok to be pampered and allow others to show you how special you are.

PREssence is an upcoming public relations firm that is new to the Tallahassee community. As the founder and CEO, I would like to bring greetings on behalf the company. We are excited about having the opportunity to serve Tallahassee. As a young girl I always had a passion for helping others today it is my duty to serve and help others in my community. As PREssence begins to make its mark, I will continue to strive to fulfill the needs of others. PREssence is here to make its mark in the ever-changing industry of integrated marketing. PREssence is a full service marketing communication, advertising and public relations consulting firm.
PREssence was founded in the summer of 2010 in Tallahassee, Florida. We are here to serve both small and large clients for special projects, providing active services and assistance to management. As the demands of social networking continue to grow and change we understand its importance and are very adamant in keeping up with this trend for the betterment of our clients and their publics.
Currently PREssence and RockBar are partnering, in hopes of re-launching an established venue here in the Tallahassee community. In January of 2010, RockBar had its grand opening and has been up and running since then. Unfortunately, much of the Tallahassee community was not aware of this have to continued to wine and dine elsewhere. RockBar has decided to re-brand and re-launch its image at the end of the summer as with a new name; Epic Lounge. PREssence host a launch party called "LAUNCH" at Epic.
Epic Lounge will exemplify elegance at its best. Epic Lounge welcomes all college students, young professional, young adults and business owners in the Tallahassee community. PREssence along with the new RockBar “Epic Lounge” will diligently serve the needs of the Tallahassee community.
